| Bio: | Rainier Spencer was born on October 31st, nineteen years ago. He was born with two sets of DNA due to Chimera syndrome (see link below). Doctors didn't realize this until they had done a variety of tests on him as he was rather sickly as a young child. Since he was so sick all the time, his parents didn't let him out of the house much. He spent a lot of time coloring, playing with toys or banging on pots and pans, driving his parents up the wall. Eventually they decided that if he was going to bang on things, they might as well just get him a drum set. When he was about seven, his health greatly improved but he still spent a lot of time playing the drums and eventually his parents got him lessons. He also started taking swimming lessons. When Rain was nine, his little sister Eve was born. He was a very attentive and affectionate big brother, often asking to help feed her and bathe her. He was never particularly spectacular in school but he loved computer classes spent a fair bit of time on the computer at home. He became very skilled but eventually lost interest in it as he got involved in track and field when he was twelve. He was pretty good at physical things but he wasn't the best on the team. It got him involved in the school a bit more and made him quite a few friends as he got older. His love for physical activity and fitness led to him taking CPR and first aid courses so that he could apply for a summer job as a lifeguard at a local water park. He did this every summer through his teens When Rain was sixteen, he got a guitar for his birthday and started to take lessons. He joined a high school band, not as a drummer as you'd suspect but singing and playing guitar. This helped him get even more attention from the girls, which he definitely didn't mind. In the last few months of High School, Rain's slayer abilities emerged. He didn't know Willow Rosenberg or anything about slayers, but her spell to activate the potentials caused the female DNA in him to react. The fraternal female twin that he absorbed in the womb must have been destined to be a slayer and now he was, although he didn't know it. The abilities first showed themselves in a dream about a blonde girl fighting big ugly things. He assumed it was a nightmare and not a dream about another slayer. Rain's performance in track and field improved suddenly and exponentially. He was the best on the team within a week. He took the team to the championships and his performance earned him a sports scholarship to university. He wasn't ready for university just yet and decided to hold off and go at another time. Rain's family was killed in their beds one night by..... things. They chased him when he ran but he somehow defeated them. (I won't go into detail because I'm sure once Rain opens up, he'll talk about it with the other characters) He was investigated for the death of his parents, but since they couldn't connect him to the crime or a weapon that could have done that kind of damage, he was eliminated as a suspect. Since his parents had no will, the bank took everything. He moved a few of his items into storage using money from his own bank account and left town after his families funerals ( A link to information about Chimera syndrome which makes this plausible http://www.thetech.org/genetics/ask.php?id=23 ) ((This is an original RP character idea by me based on a world created by Joss Whedon.
